HOW TO MAKE AN APPOINTMENT

blue_calendar_2011Please telephone 020 8876 3901.  Our telephone lines are open Monday to Friday 8.00am – 6.30pm.

During busy times, there may be some delay before you speak to a Receptionist – please be assured that every call is answered as soon as possible.  The Receptionists cannot offer medical advice but they may ask you some questions to enable us to offer you the most appropriate service.

Usually each appointment is 10 minutes long. Please remember that each appointment is for one person.

Please give us as much notice as possible if you need to cancel a booked appointment.

When you come to the surgery for your appointment, you may check in using our touch screens or in person at Reception.

URGENT CASES

If you need urgent medical advice, we will make every effort to make sure you are seen but you may need to see someone other than your usual doctor.  Please try to let us know by 10.00am if you feel you need to be seen that day.

On most days we operate a triage system between 8.30am - 11.30am so, when you request an urgent appointment, we may first arrange for you to talk to a doctor on the telephone.

TELEPHONE ADVICE

If you require advice but do not feel that you need to see a doctor, you may request a telephone call. The doctor will usually return your call at the end of the surgery, or between patients if the opportunity arises.
